Mucha Mkono is an ARC DECRA Fellow at the University of Queensland. Mucha’s acclaimed research focuses on tourist sociology, particularly netnography (which applies the in-person participant observation techniques of anthropology to the study of interactions and experiences manifesting through digital communications). Her insights are particularly important to understanding the customer experiences tourists seek and in identifying the emerging industry trends in the tourism industry.
