| Daniel joined Synergies Economic Consulting in 2006 as a research assistant. He commenced work on a full-time basis as a consultant at the beginning of 2008 after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Economics majoring in Business and Industry. Dan has considerable experience in research and data analysis. He has applied these skills in regulatory and infrastructure economics, utilities and social policy analysis. - Conducted background research concerning QCA precedent in relation to a number of issues associated with the arbitration dispute between Xstrata and PCQ;

- Analysis of various revenue-raising options for alleviating urban congestion to be considered as part of an integrated approach to reducing congestion levels; and
- Assisted in the preparation of a report on the structure of rail access regimes for heavy haul rail networks throughout Australia.
