Professor Stan Hurn

Stan is Professor of Econometrics at the Queensland University of Technology. He has been Director of the Applied Modeling in Economics and Finance Research Program since 2003.

Stan’s consulting experience is considerable and covers infrastructure price regulation and trade practices matters. This experience includes advising on the applicability of game theory to airport regulation, forecasting electricity prices, developing an index of gambling activity, modelling the cost of water infrastructure in the Brisbane metropolitan area and modelling optimal rail capacity.
